HELPING THE STRAY ANIMALS OF TURKEY
Adopt a Pet!
Tails of Turkey was established in 2016 as a network to help the homeless animals of the Country. Our growing community, both on the ground and on social media, is not only rescuing and fostering cats and dogs, but successfully promoting animal welfare, as well as encouraging adoptions in Turkey and beyond!
About Us
About Our Work
The dog and cat populations in the city continue to grow and we are currently engaged in a Spay-Neuter-Release Program and have set up an Emergency Fund to provide support to rescuers who are helping sick and injured animals.

Here´s how YOU can help the stray animals in Turkey

ADOPT OR FOSTER
Our aim is to help Turkey’s stray animals and place them into a permanent and loving home in Turkey or abroad.

Pet PREPARATION
We provide a potential adopter with all the information needed for them to adopt. Therefore, we require an adoption application form to be completed.

Spay & Neuter
Tens of thousands of animals are being euthanized annually in each city, the leading cause of death in animal shelters for healthy dogs and cats. Huge number of animals are being put down unnecessarily. DONATE NOW
TAKE ACTION
Spay & Neuter
The animals in Turkey are reproducing at a rapid pace, and the constant sight of pregnant cats confirms the fact that this is an ongoing problem, which is not being managed properly.. According to People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), a single cat and her offspring can produce 370,000 kittens in 7 years!
Please consider making a donation.
Adopt & Foster
Flight Volunteer
Sometimes forever homes are abroad and we need a flight volunteer to escort the animal. When you accept to bring a cat or dog with you on your booked flight, we will help you with booking the cat or dog on the same flight.
